ORDER:-

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for respondent Nos.1 to 3.

2. Petitioner states that he preferred an appeal in Rc.No.C/199/2013 before the Revenue Divisional Officer (RDO)-second respondent questioning the grant of pattadar passbook and title deed to the fourth respondent. In the said appeal, the second respondent had fixed a date of hearing on 15.06.2013, but the appeal was adjourned and the matter thereafter remains pending and is not being taken up. Complaining of inaction, the present writ petition is filed.

3. Since the issue involved is only regarding hearing and consideration of petitioner's appeal, I deem it appropriate to direct the second respondent to fix an early date, hear the parties in the appeal, and then pass appropriate orders in the appeal, in accordance with law, preferably within two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
