SKK,J WP_32052_2016 O R D E R:- The main grievance of the writ petitioner is that even though he made applications dated 30.07.2016 and 03.08.2016 along with an affidavit seeking grant or renewal of a licence to run manufacture unit for sale or distribution of drugs and for change of constitution from partnership to proprietorship, the 2nd respondent - Director, so far, has neither considered his applications nor granted the relief sought for. The learned Government Pleader for Medical and Health appearing for the respondents has submitted that the respondents will consider the applications of the petitioner within the time that may be stipulated by this Court.
Keeping in view the averments made in the writ affidavit and the submission of the learned Government Pleader, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition by directing respondent Nos.2 and 3 to consider the applications dated 30.07.2016 and 03.08.2016 said to have been filed by the petitioner, and pass appropriate orders thereon, in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate decision that may be taken, in writing, to the petitioner within a period of one week thereafter.

With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
As a sequel, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any pending, shall stand disposed of as infructuous.
