THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No. 26795 OF 2019 O R D E R :

This Writ Petition is filed seeking a mandamus to declare the action of the respondents in proposing to pick up the persons of their choice whose names are not in the selected and recommended list prepared and forwarded by Ward Sabha, as arbitrary and illegal.

The case of the petitioner is that the respondents have selected ineligible candidates for granting loans by the SC Cooperative Development Corporation under self-employment scheme, without considering the names communicated by the 4th respondent to the 5th respondent vide letter dated 17.08.2019. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Government Pleader for Social Welfare. In view of the limited grievance of the petitioners, without going into merits of the matter, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents to strictly adhere to the guidelines notified for granting the loans under self-employment scheme and pick up the eligible candidates, in accordance therewith. No costs. Consequently, the miscellaneous Applications, if any shall stand closed.
