O R D E R

The petitioners seek intervention of the Revenue Divisional Officer, Siddipet, Medak District, upon their representation dated 31.03.2015. This representation was

submitted in the context of the entries made in the revenue records in relation to the land in Sy.No.436 admeasuring Ac.0.23 guntas in Toopran Village and Mandal. In the event the petitioners are aggrieved by the entries made by the Tahsildar, Toopran, Medak District, their proper remedy is to file an appeal under the Andhra Pradesh Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971. Without taking recourse to the statutory remedy, they cannot seek relief by way of an informal representation.

The writ petition is therefore dismissed leaving it open to the petitioners to avail the appropriate remedy before the competent authority in accordance with law.
