HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A. SHANKAR NARAYANA M.A.C.M.A. No.1582 of 2012 JUDGMENT:

The instant appeal was settled between the parties before the LokAdalat, organized by the High Court Legal Services Committee, Hyderabad, where respondent No.1 - petitioner agreed to receive reduced compensation of Rs.6,50,000/- (Rupees six lakhs and fifty thousand) instead of Rs.7,04,023/- (Rupees seven lakhs four thousand and twenty three) granted by the Tribunal in O.P. No.647 of 2005, and also the interest at 6% per annum instead of 7.5% per annum and, to that effect an award, dated 04-12-2014, was passed and the same is placed on record.

Therefore, the appeal is disposed of, in terms of the award passed by the Lok-Adalat granting a sum of Rs.6,50,000/- (Rupees six lakhs and fifty thousand) towards compensation with interest at 6% per annum thereon from the date of petition till the date of realization. The award shall form part of the record. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous applications, if any, pending in the appeal, stand disposed of.
