Petitioner is aggrieved by the order of suspension dated 10.03.2017. Against the order of suspension under Rule 33 of the Andhra Pradesh Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1991, right of appeal is provided to the next higher authority. No reason is assigned as to why petitioner has not availed the remedy of appeal.

Since the petitioner has got an alternative remedy of appeal to the next higher authority on the orders passed by the Regional Director-cum-Appellate Commissioner of Municipal Administration, Warangal, this Court is not inclined to entertain the writ petition.

Granting liberty to the petitioner to avail the remedy of appeal, the writ petition is dismissed. It is needless to observe that as and when such appeal is preferred, the next higher authority shall consider the same and pass orders, as warranted by law, within a period of two (2) months from the date of receipt of such appeal. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
