The grievance of the petitioner was that the police authorities were not investigating Crime No.218 of 2012 registered on the file of Kachiguda Police Station, Hyderabad.

Relying on the written instructions dated 17.10.2012 furnished by the Inspector of Police, Kachiguda Police Station, Hyderabad, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home stated that Crime No.218 of 2012 was registered under Sections 406, 498-A and 120-B I.P.C. read with Section 34 I.P.C. on the file of Kachiguda Police Station and after due investigation, the police filed a final report before the learned IV Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Hyderabad, reporting lack of evidence.

In that view of the matter, no interference is called for in this writ petition. In the event the petitioner is aggrieved by the final conclusion arrived at by the police authorities, it is for him to avail appropriate remedies in accordance with law before the competent forum.

Reserving liberty to the petitioner to do so, the writ petition is closed.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand closed. No order as to costs.
