HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T.SUNIL CHOWDARY WRIT PETITION No.23752 OF 2016 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents 2 to 6 in not taking steps for removal of encroachments made in Paddaraju Canal, Pithapuram, East Godavari District in pursuance of Lr.No.3P, dated 20.01.2016, issued by the 6th respondent as illegal and arbitrary and consequently direct the respondents 2 to 6 to remove the encroachments made on Paddaraju Canal passing through Indira Nagar, Pithapuram and to pass such other necessary orders. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Government Pleader for Irrigation and learned Government Pleader for Revenue.

The grievance of the petitioner is that he made a representation to the second respondent on 20.05.2016 and till today, no orders were passed. The only request made by the petitioner is to direct the second respondent to dispose of his representation dated 20.05.2016.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the second is hereby directed to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 20.05.2016 in accordance with law as early as possible, preferably, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. As

a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, in this writ petition shall stand closed.
