THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No.27121 of 2003 ORDER:

When the matter is taken up, it is noticed that the petitioner is challenging the orders passed by Authority under the Minimum Wages Act, 1948 in M.W.Case.No.32/2002 of 2002 dated 30.08.2003.

The Authority under the Minimum Wages Act had directed the petitioner to deposit an amount of Rs.11,376/- within 30 days and this Court was pleased to grant interim direction on 30.12.2003 subject to condition of the petitioner depositing 50% of the awarded amount by the Authority.

Since the issue is only in respect of balance amount of Rs.5,688/-, ends of justice would be met, if the remaining balance is also directed to be paid to the respondent workman. With the above observations, the writ petition is dismissed. No order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending, shall stand closed.
