HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE RAMESH RANGANATHAN Writ Petition No.8562 of 2011 ORDER:

The relief sought for in this Writ Petition is for a writ of mandamus declaring the action of the NTR University of Health Sciences, in not releasing the question paper and answer reference key for the entrance test for admission to the PG Medical/Diploma Courses for the academic year 2011-12, as arbitrary and illegal. The petitioner contends that there were several discrepancies in the question paper itself resulting in the petitioner not being successful in the examination. The duration of PG Medical/ Diploma courses is 3/2 years, and since the request relates to the year 2011-12, more than five years ago, it is evident that the cause in the Writ Petition does not survive necessitating any further adjudication by this Court; and the Writ Petition has become infructuous.

The Writ Petition is, accordingly, dismissed as infructuous. The Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
