WRIT PETITION No. 23148 of 2015 ORDER:

Heard learned Counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for the first respondent.

This Writ Petition is filed for the following relief: ".......pleased to issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ declaring that the action of the 2nd respondent in not releasing the results of the examinations conducted on 13th, 14th and 16th of august, 2011 is arbitrary, illegal and violative of Articles 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the 2nd respondent to release the results of the examination conducted on 13th, 14th and 16th August, 2011 thereby enabling the petitioner to submit his thesis to complete the process of evaluation of thesis and conduct viva voce immediately to award *-*-*-*-*-*- *-*- Ph.D. degree ."

It is brought to the notice of this Court by the learned Counsel for the petitioner that in similar and identical circumstances, this Court passed an order in Writ Petition No. 9535 of 2015, dated 4.6.2015. In the circumstances, in this case also, the second respondent University is directed to declare the results of examinations conducted on 13th, 14th and 16th of August, 2011 so far as the petitioner is concerned. The learned Counsel for the respondents has no objection to the extent of relief granted in the present case.

In the circumstances, the Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. Miscellaneous petitions pending consideration if any in the Writ Petition shall stand closed in consequence. No order as to costs.
