HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITON No.23542 of 2018 ORDER:

The only grievance of the petitioner is that the complaint of the petitioner dated 31-10-2017 is not being registered and investigated into in accordance with law by filing charge sheet. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home basing on oral instructions submits that the petitioner was issued notice for the purpose of enquiry, but he has not turned-up. In view of the same, the Apex Court has laid down guide lines in respect of registration of crimes in the judgment of Lalitha Kumari v. Government of Uttar Pradesh1 and the respondentpolice have to follow the same. In that view of the matter, the 3rd respondent is directed to take appropriate action on the complaint of the petitioner in accordance with guidelines laid down in the judgment of Lalitha Kumari cited supra.

With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. As a sequel to the disposal of this petition, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
