The present writ petition is filed by the petitioner seeking to quash the proceedings against him in FIR No.388 of 2016 on the file of the IV Town Police Station, Visakhapatnam City.

Heard and perused the material available on record. 3.

It is stated that the police raided on Sai National Hotel at Dondaparthi, Visakhapatnam and caught A2 and two sex workers. A2 is alleged to have confessed that the petitioner and other accused purchased food, alcohol and condoms and they consumed alcohol and on seeing the police, they escaped. The grievance of the petitioner is that he had not committed any offence and he was falsely implicated in the above crime. 4.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to interfere with the proceedings in the above Crime. However, respondents Nos.2 to 4 are directed to complete the investigation and file a final report, in accordance with law, without arresting the petitioner. The petitioner is directed to appear before the Station House Officer concerned daily in between 10 a.m., and 5 p.m., for a period of ten days from 15th November, 2016.
