HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITON No.23635 of 2018 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed aggrieved by the inaction of respondent No.3 on the report dated 24-06-2018, which was sent to the respondent No.2 through registered post for taking action against respondents 4 and 5.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that after filing of the writ petition, a case in Cr.No.158 of 2018 was registered on 10-07-2018 and he submits that since it is a case of medical negligence, the Investigating Officer has to follow the guidelines issued by the Apex Court in the judgment of Jacob Mathew v. State of Punjab1.

Heard learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home. In view of the same, the concerned Investigating Officer has to take steps in terms of the guidelines issued by the Apex Court in Jacob Mathew's case cited supra within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of.
