When this matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are the clerical staff of the respondent-Bank and they are seeking promotion to the post of Junior Management Grade Scale-I and that this Court on 13.5.2003 was pleased to issue an interim order directing the respondents to reserve eight vacancies in the cadre of Junior Management Grade Scale-I. He further submits that the case of the petitioners may be considered in accordance with rules for promotion to the post of Junior Management Grade Scale-I.

Considering the above submission, this Court is of the view that this writ petition can be disposed of directing the respondents to consider the case of the petitioners for promotion to the post of Junior Management Grade Scale I. 3.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents to consider the case of the petitioners for promotion to the post of Junior Management Grade Scale I in accordance with rules, if not already considered, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

No costs. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
