HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.36262 of 2016 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed by the petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking to direct respondents Nos.3 and 4 not to interfere in civil disputes and also not to call the petitioner to the 4th respondent-police station.

Heard and perused the material available on record. 3.

The main grievance of the petitioner is that he constructed shops and a house in his open plot, and respondents Nos.5 and 6 who purchased plots near the house of the petitioner, beat him and proclaimed that the petitioner, who belongs to scheduled caste, will not be allowed to reside in front of their houses. In that connection, the petitioner gave a complaint against them and that 4th respondent registered a case against the above respondents. But no action was taken and apart from that, the unofficial respondents are interfering in civil disputes by calling him to the police station and by threatening him to settle the civil disputes with respondents Nos.5 and 6.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the grievance of the petitioner, without expressing any opinion, the Writ Petition is disposed of with the following direction: "Respondent Nos.3 and 4 are directed not to interfere with the affairs of the petitioner more particularly, in any of the civil disputes between the petitioner and respondents Nos.5 and 6. At the same time, this order will not stand in the way of the above

respondents to proceed with the investigation, if any case is registered against the petitioner for cognizable offence." There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
