HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No.14694 OF 2013 ORDER:

In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, petitioners/A1 to A9 seek to quash the proceedings in Crime No.229 of 2013 on the file of Annasagar Police Station, Mahabubnagar District, registered for the offence under Section 498-A IPC.

When the matter came up for hearing, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor produced the letter dated 20.07.2018 of Sub-Inspector of Police, Annasagar Police Station, Mahabubnagar District and submitted that after filing of charge sheet, C.C.No.406 of 2014 was registered and the case has been compromised before Lok Adalat on 22.04.2018 and therefore, the petition which is filed to quash the proceedings in Crime No.229 of 2013 has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed. 3.

In view of the above submission of learned Assistant Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as Infructuous.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
