Naresh Kumar, learned counsel representing Sri Srinivas Ambati, learned counsel for the petitioner, would submit that in the light of the counter-affidavit averments to the effect that the petitioner's son, Kuppili Ashok, was arrested in connection with a Crime No.17 of 2016 on the file of Laveru Police Station and was remanded to judicial custody by the learned Additional Judicial First Class Magistrate, Srikakulam, on 14.09.2017, no further orders are required to be passed in this writ petition. The writ petition is accordingly dismissed leaving it open to the petitioner to avail appropriate remedies in accordance with law. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
