This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking a direction to the learned Judicial First Class Magistrate, Bhainsa, to dispose of Crl.M.P.No.860 of 2016 in M.C.No.1 of 1987 pending on his file within a stipulated period.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the record. 3.
From a perusal of the record, it is evident that the aforesaid Miscellaneous Petition was filed by the petitioner herein in the year 2016 seeking enhancement of the maintenance and respondent No.2 herein filed his counter, the petitioner filed her chief-affidavit on 05.02.2018 and was also cross-examined on 20.02.2018.

In the affidavit, filed in support of the Criminal Petition, it is stated that the trial Court is adjourning the case from time to time and not passing any orders on the aforesaid Miscellaneous Petition. 5.
In view of the above and having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits, this Criminal Petition is disposed of directing the learned Judicial First Class Magistrate, Bhainsa, to dispose of Crl.M.P.No.860 of 2016 in M.C.No.1 of 1987 as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.
As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
