THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.35920 OF 2016 ORDER:

This writ petition, under Article 226 of Constitution of India, is filed seeking a direction to respondent No.5 to proceed with the investigation in Crime Nos.47 of 2014 and 171 of 2014 and take action against the accused therein.

Heard and perused the material available on record. 3.

Grievance of the petitioner is that respondent No.5 registered Crime Nos.47 of 2014 and 171 of 2014 for the offence under Section 506 I.P.C. and though he is having sufficient evidence, he is not taking any steps to investigate into the matter and file charge sheet.

Considering the grievance of the petitioner, respondent No.5 is directed to complete the investigation in Crime Nos.47 of 2014 and 171 of 2014 as expeditiously as possible and file a final report, if any, in either way in accordance with law, within a period of six

(6) months from today.

With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
