As the learned Government Pleader for Home representing respondent Nos.1 & 2 stated police final report already filed before the learned Magistrate concerned on 30.06.2017, the remedy left open to the petitioner is to move for either anticipatory bail or surrender bail, as the case may be, with notice to the learned Public Prosecutor.

Accordingly and in the result, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
