The present writ petition is filed questioning the inaction of the third respondent in conducting investigation into Crime No.277 of 2018 for the offence under Section 339 IPC, though the said case was registered on 19.11.2018.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, dated 06.12.2019, which is placed on record of this Court, would submit that based on the complaint of one Abdul Subhan, the aforestated case was registered on 19.11.2018 and the investigation was conducted by the third respondent. Learned Assistant Government Pleader would further submit that during the course of investigation, a notice under Section 41-A Cr.P.C. was served to the accused persons on 03.11.2018. After completion of investigation into the said crime, a charge sheet was filed before the VII Additional Metropolitan Magistrate, Nampally, on 22.03.2019 and the case is numbered as C.C.No.18505 of 2019 and is pending trial.

Having regard to the submissions made on behalf of the official respondents, since the grievance of the petitioner as regards finalization of investigation stands redressed and therefore, this Court is of the view that no further orders need be passed in the writ petition.
