Heard Sri P.Venkateshwer Rao, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Sri N.Vasudeva Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for the respondents-Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (the Corporation, for short).
2. The petitioner is a conductor in the respondentsCorporation. He was removed from service vide proceedings dated 10-3-2005 on the allegation of certain
misconduct. Against the said removal order, he preferred an appeal to the Divisional Manager, Hyderabad Division and the same was rejected. Thereafter, he filed a review petition before the 2nd respondent. The 2nd respondent passed orders dated 18-3-2006 reinstating the petitioner into service as a fresh conductor and also indicating therein that the past service will be counted for terminal benefits. The petitioner submits that earlier to his removal order, he was allowed Family Planning Increment of Rs.105/- vide office order dated 19-3-2002. According to him, it was his personal increment which was granted on account of the fact that his wife underwent Tubectomy operation on 21-01-2002 at the Corporation Hospital, Tarnaka. The said increment was added to his pay till the date of his removal, but, subsequent to his reinstatement, the said increment was denied to him. Questioning the same, he filed the present writ petition.

Under the above circumstances, the petitioner is directed to make an application to the 2nd respondent seeking inclusion of the said increment and when such representation is made, the 2nd respondent-Regional Manager is directed to consider and dispose of the same in accordance with Rules within a period of 8 (eight) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. The miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand
closed. No costs.
