ORDER

This petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C., is filed by the petitioner/accused seeking to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.683 of 2013 on the file of III Additional Metropolitan Magistrate, Vijawayada, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 138 and 142 of Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881, against them.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, none appeared on behalf of the petitioner. Admittedly, the case pertains to the year 2013 and no interim orders are passed in the matter. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to grant any relief in this criminal petition.

3. Hence, the Criminal Petition is dismissed. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this criminal petition shall stand dismissed.
