HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No. 15790 of 2003 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed seeking to issue a writ of mandamus declaring Rule 39 read with Annexure-III of the A.P.Charitable and Hindu Religious Institutions and Endowments Office Holders and Servants Service Rules, 2000 issued in G.O.Ms.No.888, Revenue (Endowments-I) Department, dated 08.12.2000, insofar as insisting graduate qualification for the purpose of promotion from the post of Superintendent to that of P.A. to Executive Officer i.e., Category-I Post in Class-I of Ministerial branch, as illegal, arbitrary and unconstitutional.

Since the petitioner had retired from service during pendency of the writ petition, the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication and, accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.
