When the matter is taken up for hearing, both the learned counsel submit that the issue raised in this writ petition is squarely covered by the order of this Court in W.P.No.18911 of 2009 dated 25.10.2018 and therefore, the punishment of postponement of annual increment for a period of one year with cumulative effect be modified to that of the punishment of postponement of annual increment for a period of one year without cumulative effect. In view of the above submission, this writ petition is allowed and the punishment of postponement of annual increment for a period of one year with cumulative effect is modified to that of the punishment of postponement of annual increment for a period of one year without cumulative effect, with all consequential benefits. No order as to costs.
