THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P.KESHAVA RAO WRIT PETITION No.17735 OF 2015 ORDER:
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3. The prayer sought for in the writ petition is as under: " to issue any appropriate writ order or direction particularly one in the nature of writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the Respondents 1 to 3 in proposing to shift the Respondent No. 4 college from Gudivada to Vuyyuru Mandal, Krishna District even before considering the objections raised by the petitioner and managements of the other junior colleges as arbitrary, illegal and contrary to section 20 of A. P. Education Act, 1982 and G.O.Ms. No. 114, Higher Education (C. E. III. 2) Department, dt. 09-08-2000 and rules made thereunder and consequently direct the Respondents 1 to 3 to consider the representation dt.
1505-2015 and 02-06-2015 before permitting to shift the Respondent No. 4 college from Gudivada to Vuyyuru Mandal Krishna District and pass such order or other order as this Honble Court deemed fit and proper". During the course of hearing, it is brought to the notice of this Court that the Government after considering the objections raised by the petitioner with regard to shifting of the 4th respondentCollege from Gudivada to Vuyyuru, Krishna District, rejected the proposal for shifting of 4th respondent-College vide proceedings in Government Letter No.5287/ IE/ A2/ 2015-3, dated 08.07.2015. In that view of the matter, this Court is of the opinion that no further orders are required in the writ petition and the same is accordingly closed. No costs.
