ORDER

In spite of the matter being listed under the caption "for dismissal", none appeared for the petitioner and no representation is made on his behalf.

This writ petition is filed seeking promotion to the post of Grade-I Hindi Pandit to the petitioner.

A perusal of the material available on record discloses that the petitioner has attained the age of superannuation. At this length of time, the relief sought for by the petitioner cannot be adjudicated on merits.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
