OFFICE NOTE 13.10.2022 KS,J I.A.No.1 of 2022 This is an application filed by the petitioners/Accused Nos.1 and 2 seeking to modify the order passed by this Court on 12.09.2022 in Crl.Petition No.7891 of 2022 by reducing the surety amount from Rs.1,00,000/- imposed by this Court while granting bail to the petitioners/Accused Nos.1 and 2 in connection with Crime No.131 of 2022 on the file of Langer House Police Station, Hyderabad for the offence under Section 8(c) read with Section 20(b)(ii)(C) of NDPS Act to Rs.25,000/- each and substitute the local surety to that of native. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners/Accused Nos.1 and 2, the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor representing the respondent-State and perused the record.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that though the bail was granted on 12.09.2022, the petitioners are languishing in jail and the petitioners are unable to furnish native sureties due to their financial condition, in the said circumstances, learned counsel seeks reduction of the surety amount and also substitute local surety to that of native.

In the said circumstances, this Court is inclined to reduce the surety amount from Rs.1,00,000/- to Rs.50,000/- each with two sureties for the like sum each among which one from Visakhapatnam District and the other from Adilabad District.

The other conditions imposed by this Court shall remain unaltered.

With this modification, I.A. is ordered.
