THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE VILAS V.AFZULPURKAR WRIT PETITION No.42177 of 2015 ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue.

The petitioner claims that his revision petition before the Commissioner of Appeals and Chief Commissioner of Land Administration, Hyderabad, was allowed vide proceedings No.L1/135/2009, dated 22.03.2013, wherein a direction was given to grant patta to him as legal heir of Late R. Balarami Reddy. Thereafter, the petitioner made an application to the Tahsildar, Charla, Khammam District, the 3rd respondent, under Form VI-A of the Andhra Pradesh Rights in Land Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971 and the Rules framed thereunder. Since the said application was not received by the 3rd respondent, the petitioner made an application before the Revenue Divisional Officer, Bhadrachalam, Khammam District, the 2nd respondent, who is stated to have forwarded the same to the 3rd respondent in R.C.No.A/216/2015, dated 16.04.2015, requiring him to conduct enquiry and submit a report within three days from the date of its receipt. The petitioner states that thereafter no action was taken by the 3rd respondent.

In view of the same, the 3rd respondent is directed to take necessary action based on the directions of the 2nd respondent, and pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's application, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ Petition is accordingly disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
