THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T.SUNIL CHOWDARY CRIMINAL PETITION No.1253 of 2016 ORDER:

This criminal petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.PC seeking direction to the learned Judicial First Class Magistrate at Janagoan to dispose of C.C. No.375 of 2012 as early as possible.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Public Prosecutor representing the State.

3. A perusal of the record reveals that C.C. is pending from 2012 onwards. Despite the fact that the matter has been coming up under the caption for trial, so far the trial has not been commenced. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the learned Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Janagoan is hereby directed to dispose of C.C. 375 of 2012 as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, the criminal petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in the criminal petition, shall stand closed.
