THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No.8322 of 2004 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to restore the promotion of the petitioner as Assistant Lineman.

Learned Standing counsel appearing for the respondents submits that the during the pendency of the writ petition, the petitioner was promoted by three stages, therefore, the cause in the writ petition no longer survives for adjudication and has become infructuous.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has also not disputed the same.

In view of the above said submission made by the learned Standing counsel, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending, shall stand closed.
