THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No. 3256 of 2017 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed for the following relief: "......to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus to declare that action of respondents in interfere in day to day activities of petitioner by calling him to police station and to declare the same as illegal, arbitrary, unconstitutional being violative of Articles 14, 21 and 300-A of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents not to interfere with day to day life of the petitioner by calling him to police station....."

Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, learned Government Pleader for Home, on the basis of written instructions, submits as follows:

"It is submitted that as of now, no FIR was registered against the petitioner herein on the file of Tirupathi East Police Station, Chittoor District. Hence, the question of calling him to the Police Station does not arise."

In view of the same, no further orders are necessary to be passed in the present writ petition.

The writ petition is accordingly closed.
