HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No.8327 of 2017 ORDER:

In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, the petitioner/accused seeks to quash the FIR in Crime No.70 of 2017 of Veepangandla P.S, Wanaparthy District, which was registered against him for the offences under Sections 6 and 7 of E.C. Act.

2) When the matter came up for hearing today, learned Public Prosecutor produced the letter dated 09.04.2018 of Sub-Inspector of Police, Veepangandla P.S, Wanaparthy District and submitted that in this case investigation was completed and charge sheet was filed on 11.09.2017 and case was registered as C.C.No.302 of 2017 on the file of Judicial First Class Magistrate, Kollapur and therefore, the petition which is filed to quash the FIR has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed.

3) There is no representation for petitioner.
