THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No. 45454 OF 2016 O R D E R:

This Writ Petition was filed challenging the registration of crime No. 43 of 2016 by respondent No. 2 pursuant to a complaint made by respondent No. 3. Respondent No. 3 lodged a complaint stating that his son was forced to marry petitioner No. 4 against his will and in view of the same, he committed suicide. He sought action against the petitioners. The police registered crime No. 43 of 2016 under Section 306 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code. This Court perused the complaint and after going through the complaint came to the conclusion that registration of crime is not bad in law. In view of the same, this Court sees no ground to interfere with the registration of the crime. However, it is needless to observe that the police during the course of investigation shall follow due process of law including Section 41-A of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed in consequence. No order as to costs.
