HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No.23818 OF 2018 O R D E R :

This writ petition is filed challenging the action of respondent No.3 in calling the petitioner to the police station and directing him to withdraw civil suit filed by him against respondent Nos.4 and 5 and in threatening him with dire consequences. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home produced written instructions stating that a case in crime No.122/2018 is registered against the petitioner who is Accused No.1 in the said crime; that during the course of investigation five witnesses were examined including the complainant; that prima facie case is established against the petitioner and Accused No.2 in the said crime. The allegations made by the petitioner that the respondents have been continuously torturing him mentally by calling him to the police station and making him to sit in the police station, were all denied.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner obtained injunction in IA.No.381/2018 in OS.No.543/2018, on 14.06.2018, in respect of the subject land; that in order to see that the petitioner does not enjoy the fruits of injunction, present crime is filed.

In view of the same the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent police not to interfere with the life and liberty of the petitioner, except in accordance with law. No order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition, shall stand closed.
