Miss. Pusapati Sravani, D/O. Pusapati Ramarao, v. The State Of Telangana, Rep., By Its Principal Secretary,
THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No.29334 OF 2017 O R D E R:
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a mandamus to declare the action of the respondent authorities particularly the 2nd respondent herein for not permitting or admitting the petitioner into the 1st year degree in B.Sc (BZC) course in any college under the control of 3rd respondent may be in Koti Women College, Hyderabad, Nizam College, Hyderabad and Government City College, Hyderabad or any other Government Degree Colleges by collecting the necessary fees.
It is the case of the petitioner that hoping that the petitioner would be getting the seat in M.B.Bs, she had not chosen to apply through on line counseling for joining in B.Sc degree courses. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that large number of seats are vacant in many of the degree colleges and no prejudice would be caused if the application of the petitioner is considered and allocated a seat in one of the degree colleges. Learned standing counsel for the respondent authorities submits that the petitioner had not made any application and however, if the application is made, the same would be considered by the respondent authorities.
In those circumstances, the writ petition is disposed of giving liberty to the petitioner to make an application to the 2nd respondent and thereafter the 2nd respondent shall consider and process the same forthwith. As it is stated that the last phase counseling is likely to end by tomorrow, learned standing counsel shall inform about passing of the order by this Court to the
concerned authority to entertain the application of the petitioner without furnishing the copy of the order of this Court. No costs. Consequently, the miscellaneous Applications, if any shall stand closed.
