Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing counsel for Singareni Collieries Company Limited. 2.
Petitioner claims to be the wife of late Kasibhatla Sree Rama Ravi Varma, who worked in Singareni Collieries Company Limited. He died on 2.12.2016. Petitioner claims to have submitted representation on 08.06.2017 to sanction the terminal benefits to her. Alleging inaction on the said representation, this writ petition is filed.

Though the application does not contain any details of alleged nomination, in the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition, petitioner states that her husband has nominated her to get the terminal benefits. Therefore, benefits are to be granted to her.

Having regard to the above, without entering into the issue as agitated by the petitioner in the writ petition, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Superintendent of Mines (S.O.M), Singareni Collieries Company Limited (6th respondent) to examine the claim of petitioner and to furnish suitable reply on due verification of the service records of late Kasibhatla Sree Rama Ravi Varma. A decision shall be taken and communicated to the petitioner within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
