THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.3811 of 2016 ORDER:

The grievance of the petitioner is as to the alleged inaction on the part of the police authorities in carrying out investigation in relation to Human Rights Case No.47 of 2016 on the file of the Andhra Pradesh State Human Rights Commission.

The Andhra Pradesh State Human Rights Commission seems to have addressed letter dated 04.01.2016 to the Superintendent of Police, Chittoor District, to submit a report and adjourned the case to 16.03.2016. As the Commission is seized of the case and as it is not powerless in the event the police authorities fail to submit a report, this Writ Petition is not maintainable and is accordingly dismissed.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
