ORDER:
The petitioners are employees of Amadalavalasa Municipality. The grievance of the petitioners is that their services were abruptly discontinued though they have rendered long service of eight years while continuing the similarly situated persons.
2. The facts narrated in the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition would disclose that the petitioners are employees of the respondent Municipality and their grievance is against discontinuation without following the due process. Thus, the grievance agitated in the writ petition is a service grievance.
The Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal is constituted under the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985, to adjudicate the service disputes of employees of Municipalities. Therefore, the petitioners have to avail the remedy as available under the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985.
3. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed granting liberty to the petitioners to avail the remedy as available under the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition, shall stand closed.
