HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P. KESHAVA RAO WRIT PETITION No.27264 of 2019 ORDER :

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners as well as the learned Government Pleader for Civil Supplies appearing for the respondents.

The prayer sought in the writ petition is as under: "..... this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue an appropriate writ order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in seizing 30,775 Kgs. of Rice (Value of Rs.4,50,000/-) of the petitioner No.1 along with Lorry Tata LPT 4223 CRE BS IV bearing No.GJ 25U 7658 (Value Rs.8,00,000/-) of the petitioner No.2 seized under cover of Panchanama dt.23.11.2019 is illegal, improper and without any power or authority under law and pass such other order or orders ....."

In fact, on 10.12.2019 this Court passed the following order in I.A.No.1 of 2019 :

"Heard.

There shall be interim direction, as prayed for, subject to the condition that the 1st petitioner shall furnish bank guarantee to the value of the goods and the 2nd petitioner shall furnish bank guarantee to the value of the vehicle, to the satisfaction of the 2nd respondent - Collector (Civil Supplies), Ranga Reddy District, Hyderabad."

In the light of the above said interim order and in the light of the order dt.05.02.2020 passed in W.P.No.1923 of

PKR,J W.P.No.27264 of 2019 2020, no further cause would survive in this writ petition and the same is liable to be closed.

Accordingly, this writ petition is closed. However, liberty is given to the petitioners to agitate all the contentions raised in the present writ petition in their explanation being filed before the District Collector (Civil Supplies), Ranga Reddy District. No order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
