Father of the petitioner was an employee of A.P.Education & Welfare Infrastructure Development Corporation (APEWIDC). He died on 10.03.2016. Petitioner applied for provision of employment under compassionate appointment scheme on 29.03.2016 which was acknowledged by the Executive Engineer-3rd respondent on 30.03.2016. On 31.03.2016 the 3rd respondent forwarded the proposals to the Managing Director-2nd respondent. Alleging inaction in considering the request of the petitioner and providing employment, this writ petition is filed.

Since the claim of the petitioner for provision of compassionate appointment is pending consideration, this Court is not inclined to entertain the writ petition and keep the writ petition pending.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to examine the claim of the petitioner for provision of employment under compassionate appointment scheme on the death of ex-employee by name A.Govindappa, as expeditiously as possible and pass appropriate orders and communicate the same to the petitioner, preferably within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
