This petition is filed seeking for quash of the proceedings against the petitioners, who are accused Nos.1 and 5 in C.C.No.356 of 2009 on the file of Additional Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Anantapur. The offences alleged are under Sections 188 and 283 IPC.

Heard the counsel for the petitioners and the Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

The allegation against these petitioners is that when the Ex-Minister, Nandamuri Bala Krishna, was conducting a road show at Bukkarayasamudram, there was violation of the rules and regulations laid down by the Deputy General of Police, Hyderabad and crackers were fired thereby disturbing the peace and tranquillity of the locality.

The counsel for the petitioners draws the attention of this Court to the order, dated 14.11.2011, in Crl.P.No.11307 of 2011, by virtue of which the proceedings against accused Nos.7 to 9 in the same CC were quashed. These petitioners also stand on the same footing.

Hence, following the said order and in terms thereof, this Criminal Petition is also allowed and the proceedings against the petitioners in C.C.No.356 of 2009 on the file of Additional

Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Anantapur, are hereby quashed.

As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall stand closed.
