This criminal petition is filed under Section 438 of Cr.P.C to enlarge the petitioners on bail in the event of their arrest in connection with Crime No.90 of 2016 of Maharanipeta Police Station, Visakhapatnam, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A, 307 read with 34 of IPC and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. After arguing the matter for some time, learned counsel for the petitioners requested this Court to permit the petitioners to surrender before the Magistrate concerned and on such surrender, if any application is filed for grant of bail, the Magistrate concerned may be directed to decide the said application on the same day.

In view of the request made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, without touching the merits of the case, I deem it appropriate to permit the petitioners to surrender before the Magistrate concerned, if any application is filed to enlarge them on bail after serving notice on respondent, the Magistrate concerned is requested to decide the application filed by the petitioners on the same day. With the above observation, this criminal petition is disposed of. Pending miscellaneous petitions in the petition, if any, shall stand closed.
