Heard the counsel for petitioner, and the learned Government Pleader for Civil Supplies (Andhra Pradesh) for respondents.

The petitioner in this Writ Petition is questioning the action of respondents in not supplying essential commodities to petitioner's Fair Price Shop No.21 of China Makkena Village, Pedakurapadu Mandal, Guntur District.

The petitioner alleges that although a show-cause notice dt.04.09.2015 had been issued to petitioner by 2nd respondent calling for explanation, and the petitioner had submitted his explanation dt.14.09.2015 thereto, the authorization of petitioner's Fair Price Shop has not been suspended as on date. He contends that the action of respondents in not supplying essential commodities for distribution to his shop is arbitrary, illegal and unsustainable.

The learned Government Pleader for Civil Supplies (Andhra Pradesh), appearing for respondents, states that if the authorization of petitioner has not been suspended till date by 2nd respondent, the essential

commodities ought to have been supplied to petitioner by respondents.

He also states that enquiry into the allegations against petitioner would be completed within two (02) months from to-day.

Having regard to the said submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing 2nd respondent to complete the enquiry into the allegations against petitioner made by the said show-cause notice dt.04.09.2015 of the 2nd respondent within a period of two (02) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

If the authorization of the Fair Price Shop dealership of petitioner has not been suspended by respondents and is subsisting as on date, the respondents shall supply essential commodities to petitioner's Fair Price Shop.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No order as to costs.
