The prayer of the petitioner in this case reads as under: 'It is therefore, prayed that this Hon'ble Court maybe pleased to issue an appropriate writ or direction, more particularly a Writ in the nature of Mandamus declaring the inaction of the 3rd and 4th respondents in mutating the name of the petitioner pursuant to application dt.20.01.2018 and 09.02.2018 in respect of schedule property i.e. land admeasuring 4 acres 20 guntas in Sy.No.128/A situated at Chinnaravula Pally village and Gram Panchayat of Bibinagar Mandal, Bhongir-Yadadri District is illegal, arbitrary and unconstitutional and consequently direct the 3rd and 4th respondents to mutate the name of the petitioner in respect of the schedule property i.e., land admeasuring 4 acres 20 guntas in Sy.No.
128/ A situated at Chinnaravula Pally village and Gram Panchayat of Bibinagar Mandal, Bhongir-Yadadri District in revenue records and pleased to pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court deems fit and proper in the circumstances of the case.' Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue, State of Telangana, would inform this Court that the applications submitted by the petitioner were duly considered by the Tahsildar, Bibinagar, and by proceedings dated 19.02.2019, the Tahsildar rejected the request of the petitioner for mutation, advising him to approach the Revenue Divisional Officer, Bhongir, for grant of Occupancy Rights Certificate and then to approach his office for mutation. A copy of the said proceedings is placed on record.
In the light of the aforestated development, the grievance of the petitioner as to the inaction of the revenue authorities stands settled. If the petitioner is aggrieved by the proceedings dated 19.02.2019, it is for him to take appropriate measures to seek redressal thereof by way of independent proceedings in accordance with law. The writ petition is accordingly dismissed with the liberty aforestated. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
