B. Ashok Kumar, v. The State Of Telangana Rep. By Its Principal Secretary,
THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.10741 of 2016 ORDER:
The prayer of the petitioners in this case is as under: " That this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue any appropriate Writ Order or Direction, essentially one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, directing the Hon'ble XXV Metropolitan Magistrate, Cyberabad at Kukatpally, to take up the D.V.C.No:2 of 2015 for early disposal, and pass such other order or orders as may be just."
This Court cannot issue a direction to the trial Court to dispose of a case pending on its file within a time frame. It is for the Court concerned to organize its workload given the constraints under which it is working. This Court cannot, in such circumstances, direct disposal of a particular case within a time frame. The prayer of the petitioners is therefore utterly misconceived.
The writ petition is accordingly dismissed.
Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
