The petitioner was appointed as fair price shop dealer of shop No.34 of T. Sandravaripalli Village in Kalikiri Mandal of Chittoor District on permanent basis.

While so, a show cause notice was issued to the petitioner on 26.06.2015 in respect of irregularities alleged to have been committed by her. She submitted her explanation on 10.07.2015. After receiving the explanation, the authorization of the petitioner was cancelled by the third respondent-Sub-Collector, Madanapalle, by order dated 29.07.2015. Aggrieved by the cancellation of her authorization, the petitioner preferred an appeal before the second respondent-Joint Collector, Chittoor on 07.08.2015 along with the application for stay of the order dated 29.07.2015 of the third respondent. When the stay application was not disposed of, the present writ petition is filed.

In view of the pendency of stay application along with the appeal before the second respondent, this Court thinks it fit to dispose of the present writ petition by directing the second respondent to take up the stay application of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders thereon, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and thereafter, the appeal itself can be taken up for hearing and after due notice and opportunity to the petitioner, the same shall be disposed of, within a period of 60 days from the date of disposal of stay application.

With the above directions, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. The Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed. _______________________________ A. RAMALINGESWARA RAO, J Date: 24.08.2015 Isn
