The Convention Of Baptist Church Of Northern Circles, v. The State Of Andhra Pradesh,
THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.23968 OF 2017 ORDER:
This Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, came to be filed seeking to declare the action of the second respondent in not considering the representations dated 16.11.2016 and 02.03.2017 made by the petitioner for approval as convener of the CBCNC Education Committee, as illegal and arbitrary. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Education appearing for respondents. With their consent, the Writ Petition is disposed of at the stage of admission itself.
The main grievance of the petitioner in this writ petition is that though the petitioner filed representations on 16.11.2016 and 02.03.2017 seeking approval as convener of CBCNC Education Committee, before the second respondent, till date no orders are passed thereon.
The learned GP submits that a suitable direction may be given to the second respondent to dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioner on 02.03.2017, if not already disposed of, in accordance with law.
Having regard to the above, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the second respondent to deal with the representation dated 02.03.2017 submitted by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders thereon, in accordance with law, as early as possible, preferably within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
Miscellaneous petitions pending in this writ petition, if any, shall stand closed. No costs.
