The grievance of the petitioner is that she lodged a complaint dated 22-06-2018 and basing on the same, a case in Cr.No.320 of 2018 was registered on 22-06-2018 by the police. After that no action has been taken by the respondent-police. It is also stated that after lodging the said complaint to the police, the 6th respondent, who is the husband of the petitioner is threatening to see her end and her daughter. On that the petitioner made a representation dated 03-07-2018 to the Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad City to provide security to them.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home produced written instructions stating that the complaint of the petitioner is under active consideration and a case in Cr.No.320 of 2018 was registered and LWs 1 and 2 were examined. It is also stated that the investigation is under progress and after completing the same, they will file appropriate report.

In view of the same, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents to take action on the representation dated 03-07-2018 made by the petitioner in accordance with law and also take steps for expeditious investigation in the above said crime.
